Ain't it great when your hometown makes the news? Just last week, the Times had a story reminding us of Schenectady's famed cockroach infestation, way back when, and now, today, Local Imam Makes Good in Albany! We couldn't be more proud. Here's a clue: if the pizza place is named "Little Italy," the proprietor should not be named "Mohammed."
I'll admit that it creeped me out that one of my favorite places to hide for lunch was also one of the places where the hijackers met and planned . . . I never went back after that, and eventually it closed.
